Is it worth taking US dollars with you to change whilst in Nepal or is it easy enough to change sterling as and when needed.

How much would you suggest for a 2 week treck staying in Tea Lodges.

You may bring US$,Euro,GPB,Any of these traveller cheques and atm cards of visa,master and all are acceptable here in Nepal at major cities(Kathmandu,Pokhara)rather than mountain.

It depends how luxury you are and how much you are expecting to spend at tea lodges but generally in my personal opinion it will be worth spending money in the mountain each day more or less 40 to 45 US$ if you arrange by some trekking organiser or if you make your trip on your own then you may spend about 30 to 35 US$ each day approximately.

We have already arranged a Guide etc and he has booked us in a Tea Houses.
