We are a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children. We planned to go to Nepal in Nov for 3 weeks. Visit Kathmandu and Pokhara, trek to Poon Hill, a couple of days of rafting and go to Chitwan. We are a little worried about the instability the election is causing - any advice on that would be welcome. We are considering an alternative. Anybody been to both Nepal and Sikkim and can tell us what the difference would be? Any other trip suggestions would be welcome.
Thank you.

Nov is a great time to visit, pokhara will give great views if you get out on the lake 5:30 morning boat is about USD2 a hour, fishtail lodge is place @ around USD 65 a day really worth the extra, get out of kathmandu asap with petrol rationing massive traffic jams%26gt; Kids me ! would do the nyapul - ghorephani - poon hill trek this time of year more exciting than skikim, chitwan should do via pkhara we used itreknepal for our jomson and chitwan trek in september weather was awful but pokhara and chitwan was a experience david webb
