october is the peak season in Nepal, so crowds is possible on the way. 16 days trek is the perfect for doing EBC trek. caming trek is usually more expensive then the teahouse trek so most of the travellers used tea house trek. camping trek also equally enjoyable, more staff required, lots of porter really lots of fun.

cheers

Kathmandu, Nepal.

hi there,

To avoid crowds, I would recommend you to go to the Kharta Valley and Khangsung region which lie next to the Everest area.

It%26#39;s a beautiful trek of 20 days. Explore Himalaya organizes that trek:

www.explorehimalaya.com. I%26#39;ve done an overland tour comined with a trek with them a couple of month ago and it was fantastic.

Have a great time in Nepal.

Hello!

Glad to hear, that u want to trek to Everest region. Well, there are lot of places within the region to walk to. Well, 16 days should be OK, depending upon the place u want to visit. I believe any form of trek: either teahouse or camping is fine. I was in the region during September in the year 2004. If you could make ur trip at the end of Sptember or early Ocotber would be the perfect time to visit the region.

Regards,

Vijar

Hi

You can manage the trek in 16 days but it is very hard for avoiding crowds during October. Camping trekking is moe enjoyable and your tour agent could manage to trek little bit off route so you can minimze crowds.

One major thing, how many group member are you accompanied with, if you are alone it might be very expensive for you. If you have not selected your trek agent yet, you can check on www.holidaysadventure.com
