Hi, I am going for trekking in June, May I know what the weather like around Poon Hill area? When will the moonsoon start?

Hello,

I am currently in Kathmandu, where the monsoon ';officially'; started last Tuesday. We are travelling to Pokhara on Thursday morning and hoping to do a 2 night trek to some hot springs - does anybody know the official name for this trek? it was recommended by my colleague%26#39;s fiancee.

Also any recommendation of places to stay on Thursday night would be appreciated?

Not sure of the official name of the trek, but the Hot Springs are (I think) at Tatopani (Napali for %26#39;hot water%26#39;). If you are in Kathmandu, go to Pilgrims bookstore and the answer will lie in their extensive travel section.

With regard to hotels in Pokhara, we stayed 1 night in Fishtail Lodge which, although one of the more expensive places, was great.
