Hi,
I%26#39;m interested in trekking the Annapurna Circuit. Has anyone completed this Trek? How many days did it take you? Was it difficult to find lodging along the way and did you go through a tour/adventure company or did you do it alone and did you hire porters? Was it mostly camping or tea houses?
I would love to hear detail from anyone who has done this!! Thanks!
Annapurna Circuit
the trek usually takes 2 weeks depends on your speed...either u can camp on the way or stay at small shops on the way which might be uncomfortable...best way is to camp...the best way is to do it on your own..you%26#39;ll find many people like you trekking alone

Annapurna Circuit, really awesome trekking region that i have ever been before. last season i have been there with my two friends with one guide and porter through company and i am so much glad of Skyline Treks %26amp; Expedition for providing me such a good hospitality. you can find tea house as well as camping trek in that region mostly people prefer tea house trek.
if you need any information about this region you can easily consult with me.

Hi - I did the Annapurna Circuit in April this year - truly breathtaking (in every sense of the word!!)
It took 17 days. which included slowing down a bit to aclimatise prior to going up over the Thorung La pass. I would say 17 days is a nice comfortable pace.
We stayed in tea houses - I%26#39;m usually a great advocate of camping but on this trek there doesn%26#39;t seem much point; if you camp you will be simply in a field next to a tea house anyway, so you don%26#39;t get away from it all any more than staying in tea houses and you have a better chance of meeting up with other people for a chat of an evening.
I uploaded some photos to a web page at http://www.axisfirst.co.uk/andy/nepal/ - please feel free to have a look if you want some feel for what it was like.
2 observations:
We went in April right at the end of the season and it was easy; we heard from people that went in October/November, at the beginning of the season and it was gruelling because they were breaking trail through knee-deep snow in places, so a lot depends on when you go.
Secondly, do it but do it soon - the Nepalese government are busy building a road around 70% of the Annapurna Circuit to get more tourists in by bus - ten years from now, the Annapurna Circuit may just be a 3 day hike up to the pass from Manang!
