Acclimatization

How many acclimatization/rest days should be taken on the Everest Circuit trek?

Acclimatization

It%26#39;s depend up on the how many days trek should you trying to do on the Everest Circut. If you are trying to do 14 days trek then 1 to 2 days is enough for the acclimatization. If any extra days nedded during your trekking time your trek organizer can adjusted acclimatizations days as per necessary.

Acclimatization

Hi

No need to travel to Nagarkot for acclimatisation.

Plenty of opportunity to stop for the odd days acclimatisation en route. On my most recent trip I had a day acclimatisation at Namche Bazaar. Its good to walk higher than Namche on the rest day (perhaps to Everest View Hotel) and then sleep back in Namche.

I then had another acclimatisation day at Tyengboche and another at (I think) Dingboche.

Always trying to walk a bit higher to acclimatise but sleep lower.

standard trip is 10-12 days up with 2-day stops in Namche and Dingboche. We did an acclimitization hike out of Dingboche to the ridge behind on one of the days there.

I was fine until my nite at 16,200. Lost my appetite and failed to eat enough and hydrate enough the next morning. Bonked on the way down from Kala Patar.

Just be very aware of the sysmptoms and hydrate, hydrate and then drink water...............................
