Tea House Facilities

Hi,

Next month I am doing the EBC trek using tea houses for accommodation.

Can anyone tell me what the facilities for washing are generally like

in these premises? That%26#39;s washing myself, not my clothes.

In general, they are good. Showers, hot running water etc. Depends on which lodges you choose.

This is a well worn trekking route now and facilities reflect this. The higher you go, the less %26#39;developed%26#39; the facilities are, the more expensive the chocolate is and the weirder your dreams get!

Do check out the German bakery at Namche and give my regards to the lama at Tengboche!

Don%26#39;t buy anything at Gorek Shep - stock up before you get there.

You cannot fail to have a great time. Enjoy the landing at Lukla!

The food at Kilroys

Coffee at Roadhouse

Curry at 3rd Eye

Pilgrims bookstore (Momos are good here)

As well as all the other tourist things to do!
