Everest Trek

I am planning to trek to Everest Base Camp in October and I am finding there are so many companies in the UK now offering trek packages. I am quite happy going on a %26#39;package%26#39; but can%26#39;t decide what company to use. I have so far narrowed it down to 2:

1. Adventure Company

2. Jagged Globe.

Does anyone have any feedback on these companies or has used another?

have you considered traveling solo and hiring a guide/porter. The mony you would spend goes directly into the Nepal economy, not to some tour operator that pays their staff poorly. The opportunity to build a personal relationship with your guide can be a great experience and you travel at your pace, not theirs and their schedule.

my friend and i have booked with the mountain company we leave england on th 12th oct 2006 we had the same problem but then just had to choose one and hope for the best good luck pat
