Is it safe to backpack for 2 ladies?

We are plannin to Backpack to Nepal for 2 weeks in December, please recommend where to stay and place to visit. Also, is it safe to backpack for 2 ladies?

hey the best palce to stay in kathmandu is kathamndu durbar square... it is quite liek 20 min far from thamel.. the touristic attraction or easy to say the google of tourism of nepal ...you can just get anythign there... and from my expericance i ask you to stay in kathmandu durbar square and the lodge is green house lodge or any lodge you can find there.. its not so expenisve i think around 200-300 nepali rs .. the main reason why you should stay here is you will be near from the 18th century palace which is called as kathamndu durbar square palace it has museum and also has kumari in it which is a gal of like 10-13 yrs old and regarded as goddess you can see her and morever the environemtn over there is totally differnt ..and things are quite cheap there .. too on the other hand the night life is liek little difficult to find there but for the night life you can go to thamel and then you just can get rickshwas from thamel to come to kathamndu durbar squre but if you walk also at the night it wouldnt%26#39; be a problem .... if you need any information you can just write me down...best regards

Travelling to Nepal on December is worth and absolutely safe for you don%26#39;t worry okay? Secondly while you are travelling to kathmandu on that period you are able to find the accomodation on your budget.

Finally doing the backpack here in Nepal for 2 ladies are safe and more enjoyable.
