2. NEC travels %26amp; tours
3. Trekking Office P Ltd.

Kathmandu is awash with trekking agencies. All will tell you they are the best.
Somethings to think about before your trek from someone who has led treks there over 20 times now:
1. What will your agency do if your Kathmandu/Lukla flights are cancelled in either direction.
2. What do they (or you) know about gastro infections and AMS, which you will certainly get in some form or another.
3. What do they (or you) know about H.A.P.E and H.A.C. E and how to deal with it, which I hope you won%26#39;t get.
4. What are their emergency evacuation procedures (and for your own sake make sure you are insured for helicopter rescue).
Are you camping or using lodges ?
If you are using Porters, do you know if they are :
a) being paid properly
b) will be properly equipped
Don%26#39;t get me wrong. I%26#39;d encourage any fit and healthy people , with good hill walking experience and a sense of adventure to go into the Khumbu and up to EBC and Kala Pattar etc.
Of course thousands upon thousands make this trek, but there isn%26#39;t one time I%26#39;ve been up there where I haven%26#39;t encountered someone in some distress or difficulty and not having a clue what to do next.
Enjoy Nepal, the landscapes and the people within them are wonderful.
