Advise Requested - prior experience

Hello,

We are in the last stages of planning a Nepal-Bhutan-Tibet-Darjeeling%26amp;Sikkim trip.

Has anyone has statements or prior experiences they would share with

the ';Fuji'; guesthouse, Kathmandu

Makalu Adventure tours, Kathmandu

Naturebeyond travel, Sikkim

Yu-Druk Tours %26amp; Treks - Bhutan

We%26#39;d really appreciate it ... also, if you are currently in or just back out from Tibet, we%26#39;d like a word. We arrive there on May 20th and fresh info would be really helpfull.

Thank You,

M.

Advise Requested - prior experience

My husband %26amp; I returned from Nepal last week. We stayed at the Fuji Guest house for 3 nites and enjoyed it very much. It is right in the Thamel district so lots of shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the rooftop patio every nite with a glass of wine to unwind, mostly alone but there are plenty of tables and chairs - it%26#39;s a very large area. The manager was very helpful %26amp; friendly and always gave us good ideas of where to eat etc when we asked. Rooms are nice, ours was fairly large with 2 double beds, staff friendly!

I have to go on tho about Makalu Adventure Tours. Our

trip was planned by Indian Moments as we spent one week in India, so I assume they subcontracted with Makalu. While Indian Moments was great I would have to say the Makalu we even better. Mohan - tour escort made sure that EVERYTHING went smoothly; from the airport pick-up, hotel, daily tours you name it. We don%26#39;t really like to be babysat but the Kathmandu Airport can be a challenge for anyone. He is an extremely nice guy who took us out one nite for dinner at an ethnic show';on him';. That was not something we knew about in advance.

The last day at the airport he made sure we went to the right places, I guess I just can%26#39;t say enough about him!

We ended up doing 3 days in Kathmandu which helped de-stress from India but I would recommend seeing the outlaying areas.

Our tour guide in Kathmandu ';Tulsi'; was wonderful. His 2 sons attend college here in MN. I found the Nepalese people friendly and helpful. You have to remember we just came from India, enough said!

If you contact Mohan at Makalu Tours be sure to mention my referral as we could not have been more satisfied with his service.

I will definitely be using them the next time we travel there as I want to do the Tibet/Nepal trip.

feel free to contact me for any more information!
