Katmandu

My wife and I traveled to Nepal for about 9 day%26#39;s in November. To say the least it was a really great journey. I%26#39;m going to post for you the things not to be missed if your not doing the trek sort of trip. In Nepal do not miss the following:

The Mount Everest Mountain Flight and make sure it is the earliest flight for the best views.

The Last Resort Resort in the North...a world class bungee jump is in store for you with great scenery on the way up.

Flying to and from Pokhara...do not take the bus like we did...to long and despite great scenery, it was a long 8 hours.

In Pokhara try and stay at the Fishtale Hotel...you will not be disappointed.

Climb Sarangot before Sunrise and if it is a clear day one of the most spectacular views is in store for you of the Dhaulagiri %26amp; Annapurna Himalayan Range. Have your best camera%26#39;s ready to go because were talking picutres that you will frame that will forever be on your walls. Machhapurchre is the most beautiful mountain I ever say in my life and you will love it to death.

Take a taxi and then climb to to the Japanese Peace Pagoda. The pictures from here will again be all over your walls at home.

The food in Pokhara was excellent and the market place was alot of fun.

If you take the bus there, be sure and fly back. You want to be on the left side of the plane and were talking incredible pictures of the Himalayan Range. You get Everest again on this flight.

Last of all Katmandu, do not eat anywhere until you try Helena%26#39;s resturant. It was the greatest.

Our favorite in Kat was the Monkey Pagoda. It surprized me because I thought it would be a tourist trap and it absolutely was not. It had personality and a very cool atmosphere.

Hope this helps you out.
