going to base camp in mid march, have heard conflicting stories of weather and what coat i need to take. Anyone tell me how cold it will be whilst walking and in the tea houses. Also i have a 2 in 1 coat from berghaus its waterproof etc. Will this be warm enough? if i get a down coat do i need a waterproof coat too?

I was in the region in mid April and it was very cold, so I would say a down jacket (for when not walking) and a waterproof are needed.
