yes there are flights on Indian Airlines from Varanasi to Kathmandu. No offence to monsoon but the bus is a pretty rough trip unless you are an intrepid traveller. Do be ready though for flight delays and even cancellations at this time of year... but Indian Airlines put you up at Clarkes if you have to wait so it certainly isn%26#39;t all bad... happened to me last Xmas.
