trekking

hi, we are planning to go to Nepal in jan. What clothes and footwear would you recommend for trekking? Do I need anything special?

also, i will be arriving from Delhi. Which is the cheapest and quickest way to travel?

and, how any days would you reccomend? where should i stay? where should i go?
