Hi
I am travelling to Nepal with my husband and 3 young children (7,9 and 10)in early April. Given the elections and the neighbouring unrest how safe is it? We will be with an organised tour and travelling to Chitwan, Pokhara and Bhaktapur.
Safety for families
I assure you.... you don%26#39;t have anything to fear about anything. And, no one here has EVER hurt a tourist before.
Safety for families
Thanks so much for your reassurance. We are all very excited about our adventure but just a little nervous!
I am no business person or something.
Anyway, I will suggest you about the things I know.
First, decide on : how long you want to stay in Nepal.
I think it would be best to stay for 3 days in the Kathmandu Valley (one day for Bhaktapur) (AT LEAST... but a WEEK will be better to see the places properly) and 2-3 days in Pokhara... where you will realize Nepal%26#39;s true beauty!!! Chitwan is a matter of maximum 2 days!!! And, it would include Jungle Safari...
I understand how excited you must be... I too am thrilled for that sort of adventure. Sadly, I am just a student in my late teens... and my family doesnt have so strong an income to finance my trips.
Something I can claim : There can be no nation that can second Nepal!!!
And, when you are with children, no chance for trekking... thats the one thrill you will miss.
