I am aware that stirling and dollars are easily changed in Nepal but are we allowed to take Nepalese currency into the country as my travel agent says she thinks so but one of the travel guides refutes this?

If you can get rupees outside of Nepal, I can%26#39;t see any problem bringing them in. Getting rupees in advance is probably more trouble than it%26#39;s worth though.
