India visa trip..

I am in India and my visa expires dec 21 2007.

I understand I can get a new visa for India in Nepal, in Khatmandu.

I would like to know the easiest and the cheapest way to reach there from Pune/Bombay.

I think you can take a flight, can be cheap when you book in advance.
