Does anyone know an airline to fly to KTM from BKK or a way to make a reservation with Royal Nepal Air???

Royal Nepal is utterly unpredictable and I wouldn%26#39;t reccomend it.

Unfortunately, this is a very expensive route. At least for me paying in the US dollars. :-(

I may have to fly into DEL rather than BKK.

Since you live in Southern California I would think you might be able to get a joint fare from LAX to Kathmandu from Thai Air. Thai has a non-stop that goes from LAX to Bangkok. The Thai Air flight from Bangkok leaves in mid morning and arrives in Kathmandu in the early afternoon. The previous posters are correct about Thai being the most reliable. We took Royal Nepal from Delhi to Bangkok in 2004 and had no problems. But judging from the many posts, we most likely lucked out.

I%26#39;ve been to Nepal 4 times. All through Bangkok.

3 of the flights were on Thai air. All were very nice, on time and in a clean planes. Everything was well oiled and on time. Not bags were lost or damaged. The cabin crews were pleasant and very attentive.

The 4th was on on Royal Nepal. NEVER AGAIN!! We were delayed both ways, luggage from our flight out of Kathmandu was put on a later plane without notification and nearly every member of our group of 60 had personnel belongings stolen from their bags, both ways. Out of Bangkok They even mad us all check our carry-ons 3 hours before departure. They too were pilfered and many members of our group lost items. And most of the bags looked like they had been dragged through the dirt behind a truck to baggage claim. Finally The cabin crew obviously had something else they would rather be dong.
